How Much, When & How
How much help, When do I get it & How to Start?

Time Distribution per Agent

How much help does each Agent get?

The CBER Marketing Department puts an emphasis in "first come, first serve." We priortize our projects based on time of demand. However, elements such as quantity, paper supply, or response times can push a project back a day or two. But it is our priority to have any project completed within a week of request.

Meetings

When do we get to meet?

We ask that you please email or call to schedule meetings if at all possible. In the initial onboard meeting with you, we will go over the marketing provided for you, the costs, business card creation, any marketing you have done in the past, what you would like to do moving forward, get a feel for your style and branding preferences and simply get to know you. Once we meet with you the first time, we generally only need to meet with you on a project by project basis, when it makes sense. Meetings are useful if they increase overall efficiency of a project. We find that the majority of projects can be discussed via email or phone, but it certainly depends on the project circumstances.

General Communication

What's the easiest way to get a hold of you?

Email is the most reliable way to communicate with Marketing. We are not always able to answer the phone, however, you are always welcome to call. Email also ensures details of each project are viewable by all parties involved, well-documented and easy for everyone to revisit. You can reach Erik Vina, the Marketing Director, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Turn-around Time

What is the typical turn-around time for marketing projects?

This can vary greatly.  Some projects may get done the same-day.  Others may take a few days. It very much depends on the current workload, urgency of the project, efficiency in communication by everyone and other factors as well. One of the biggest goals moving forward is to reduce turn-around time.

How You Can Help
As an Agent, what's expected of me?

Agents can help Marketing be more efficient tremendously by doing the following things asked of you:
(BIG THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR REVIEWING THE LIST BELOW!)

  • Clear, Thoughtful Communication: Each marketing project that the CBER Marketing Department helps with is a joint effort between the Marketing Department and the Agent. Communication is key. You can often save us hours of time by spending just a few extra minutes when you email us.
  • example: If you submit a written marketing request to us, you might take an extra five minutes to make sure you have given us any details you think we might need, attached any documents/photos we might use, attached any examples you might have to help us visualize what you envision, etc.
  • example: If we design a graphic for you and you would like it changed because it isn’t your style, has mistakes or needs any other changes, you will save us a ton of time by spending an extra five minutes making sure you give us as many details as possible. “I just don’t like it.” or “It just feels wrong.” or “There is a mistake on the back.” are all examples of unclear communication. Why don’t you like it? Colors, font, images, wording, size, shape, clutter? What specifically are the mistakes you found and where specifically can we find them?
  • Help by Doing Your Part: To help us move as fast and efficiently as possible, there are certain tasks related to certain marketing projects that might fall in your lap, as opposed to ours to ensure we spend our time working on tasks that truly need our marketing skills/knowledge. Reviewing a mailing list for mistakes, printing labels, stuffing envelopes, folding, using a design template, watching a tutorial to learn how, or possibly researching real estate data used in the project, etc. are just a few examples of tasks that you can help with to increase overall efficiency.
